It’s really scary, sometimes you wonder if time heals at all. When you look around it seems everyone wears his smile, says his favorite words and smells his scent.
Those hands grasping toughness like they were made for each other, those hairs sticking to his skin whenever his body is wet. Those lips, though weak from a day’s puff, glows like a sunflower and never speaks of its ordeal. Those hairs again, that tickle every fibre of feeling whenever I touch them.
Does time ever heal?
When I look at another, I secretly wish he was him.
When I be with another, I secretly hope it won’t be the same.
When I want another, I earnestly pray, another won’t want him.
Does time ever heal?

Bang! Bang! Bang!
“Mama Emeka open the door, if not I would break it down…”
He awoke with the sounds of his parents wrestle telling him it’s day break.
With painful screams proceeding from his mother’s mouth, he watched as his Father hit his mother like a car in need of panel beating! It sinks; maybe that’s what women are for!

Topic: SEEKING HELP FROM ABOVE
Psalms 121:1-2 (KJV) I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
Psalms 70:1-5 (KJV) Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.
Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
When we talk about help from above, we are talking of help from ONE whose decision is the FINAL SAY. The maker of heaven and earth, The greater than the greatest.
The most dangerous thing to do is to seek help from other source than THE GOD ALMIGHTY.

What happens when you have a new love interest?
Especially when he’s a hottie, fresh from the oven baked with goodies!
I know someone who has a new love interest. And she’s super excited about it.
You know how you’re longing for something good and it finally arrives, like Nigeria winning their second match in the World Cup after being beaten previously by Croatia…..that’s the feeling.

A soft and gentle and thoughtful answer turns away wrath, But harsh and painful and careless words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise speaks knowledge that is pleasing and acceptable, But the [babbling] mouth of fools spouts folly. The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Watching the evil and the good [in all their endeavors].

04. 07. 2018 || A BOLD ACTION
It’s done in secret at night. You are home for the holidays from boarding school, as there is no school in your rural community in Kenya. You are excited to see your family, but you are also filled with dread. It is circumcision season, and you are 13.
You listen carefully to the conversations at home, wondering which night it will happen, hoping you can run away into the night before the elderly woman with the knife comes. At age 13, a girl becomes a woman in your tribe by undergoing female genital mutilation (FGM) — the partial or total removal of a girl’s external genitals. It’s a rite of passage in your tribe and makes you eligible for marriage. You don’t want to marry; you’re young and want to stay in school. But your parents have other plans.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21
Words are serious business. And, as believers, we need to get serious about learning how to use them. We need to begin to put them to work for us like God Himself does. The Bible tells us that He uses words to “call those things which be not as though they were” (Romans 4:17).

We boarded the bus of destiny
Hit potholes, bumped into ditches
But we made it out.
I saw the city afar off
It seemed so slow in coming
The road is longer than I thought
How are we going to make it in time?

“And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water….” Matthew 14:28-29
It’s easy to be so afraid of making a mistake that you never get around to stepping out on faith. You can spend all your time wondering, Is this faith? Or is it presumption? What if I exercise my faith for something and find out later I’ve missed God’s will?
Don’t worry. God can handle any mistake you can make. I know because I’ve made plenty of them. When I did, I’d just go to the Lord and He’d tell me, Stay on the Word, son. Together we’ll overcome this thing. And we always did.
