SELF ESTEEM

Self-esteem refers to the opinion you have for your own self. If you feel you’re competent and kind, good looking, or capable of doing things, this is a sign that you have high self-esteem. But, if you have negative opinions about yourself and feel that you cannot do your tasks like others do or do not look good, you have low self-esteem. Sometimes, low self-esteem becomes the cause of anxiety and depression.
Therefore, self-esteem refers to how you think about your own self, how worthy you think you are and how much importance you give to yourself. It’s not about bragging about yourself, but knowing that you can do your best, even if you’re not perfect. Continue reading SELF ESTEEM

OVERNIGHT SUCCESS DOESN’T EXIST

I believe in dreaming big, but at the same time stating small, so why do we think we can achieve success sharp sharp… It takes lots of investments in time and resources…

People like to think of success as a singular event. It’s not. It’s a multitude of steps. You write novels one word at a time. You paint one stroke of color at a time. You run a hundred miles one step at a time. One mile at a time. One day at a time. Thousands and thousands of days. Tens of thousands of hours…

CURE FOR PROCRASTINATION

WORK YOUR SCHEDULE LIKE SOMEONE’S LIFE DEPENDS ON IT

I used to be an award winning procrastinator. Like I could literary sit back and do nothing while I allowed the important task to sleep till the next day.

And oh, the next day came as always and I still didn’t find the will power to do those tasks, until when the need of such tasks didn’t matter anymore, then I’ll beat myself into self pity and think of how I’m gonna turn out better next time.

And yes the next time did come, not once, not twice; and oh well we know how these vicious circles go…

DON AND DEYON STEPHENS

I am a lover of reaching out and giving out. When I first heard about Africa Mercy – I was overly delighted. I couldn’t bring my human understanding to phantom how a group of individuals would leave their comfort zone and travel far and wide to give out help selflessly!

I got to read about their founders and was even more inspired. Having a child with autism didn’t limit The Stephens instead they are using their pain to cause a change for others…. I honestly wish they can come to Nigeria, it would be such a delight to work with them!

So…….

LEAVING THE PAIN BEHIND

May 02, 2018 | A Devotional.

by Kenneth Copeland

“Love…is not touchy or fretful or resentful;it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].” 1 Corinthians 13:5, The Amplified Bible

Have you ever tried to forgive someone…and found you simply couldn’t do it? You’ve cried about it and prayed about it and asked God to help you, but those old feelings of resentment just failed to go away.

Put an end to those kinds of failures in the future by basing your forgiveness on faith rather than feelings. True forgiveness doesn’t have anything at all to do with how you feel. It’s an act of the will. It is based on obedience to God and on faith in Him.

12 SUCCESS RULES BY EARL NIGHTINGALE

By Christian Mihai

It’s probably no big secret that I am a firm believer in personal development. That’s one way to explain it, I guess. It means that I listen to motivational speeches while I work, read everything from popular self-help books to psychology and NLP, and tried all sorts of stuff to get to be more focused, more energetic, and motivated to achieve my goals.

That being said, this list of twelve rules is something that I just have to share with you.

1. It is our attitude in the beginning of a task which, more than anything else, will affect its successful outcome.

Attitude is everything. A bit of self-awareness helps one to recognize the moments in which their attitude did not match the desired outcome.

Way I see it, you can either adopt a positive attitude (you will get what you want, you will accomplish a certain task, you will reach your goal) or a negative one (you will fail, all you think about is your fear of failing and the negative consequences of that).
